Launch of Oncology Times Chinese Edition, the first of its kind in China.
Launch of Endocrine Times (formerly Diabetes Times), the first of its kind in China. Endocrine Times is also the first medical newspaper fully developed by EMD¡¯s in-house professional writing and editing team.
Accomplishment of a significant CME tour namely, ¡®World Window in Hypertension¡¯, in 20 cities in China. It provides the updates on JNC-7 and European Management Guideline Of Arterial Hypertension to 4,000+ cardiologists and internists who treat cardiovascular disease.
Offices in Beijing and Shanghai renovated to accommodate team expansion
Nearly all multinational pharmaceutical companies had at least used EMD products or services once.
Permission of licensing and distributing contents of Elsevier Publishing Group, Blackwell Science, which extend our medical journal coverage to over 3,500.

2004

EMD claimed as the largest licensor and distributor of foreign-medical-content in the region.
As of May, over 30 million view print & electronic pages had been distributed to doctor readers and the industry.
First of its kind, EMD launched an innovative CME broadcasting program, namely ¡®ACC in China¡¯, which successfully brought the 2004 annual meeting highlights and telecast speakers of American College Cardiology to over 4,000 medical doctors in China. It enabled them who have difficulty in traveling and budget limitation to acquire cardiology advances for life-saving practice.
Launch of Circulation Chinese Edition, a #1-world-ranked cardiology journal, distributed to 2,000 Chinese cardiologists.
Launch of CNS Times, the first of its kind in China. CNS Times is also the second medical newspaper fully developed by EMD¡¯s in-house professional writing and editing team.
A new Hongkong operation initiated to cover business in Hongkong and Taiwan.
